Experience Hannah Creel Music

Hannah Creel hails from Morris, Alabama and received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a vocal and choral concentration from Samford University. During her time at Samford, she has participated in numerous professional affiliations such as American Choral Directors Association, Alabama Music Educators Association, Collegiate National Association of Music Educators, and Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society. During her studies, she completed student teaching at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School and Hoover High School, where she conducted ensembles, led rehearsals, and taught subjects such as music theory and music history. Hannah is an avid supporter of music and arts education. She teaches voice, piano, and ukulele lessons to students of all ages in the Birmingham area. Hannah is passionate in working with children, teens, and adults with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral disorders. Over the last two years she has lead music interventions with neurodiverse populations at Glenwood Inc.. Hannah is fervent in extending access to music education and music therapy to all.  She believes every student is special and deserves the opportunity to partake in music.  She accredits music to providing students with not only musical skills, but skills students will use throughout their lives such as; discipline, dedication, problem solving, team work, self-discovery, and unity.
